quick story relating to this mother's day. evie was really excited to help me pick out some things for al this year. first, we got some treats at wal-mart that evie picked out. then, we went to a movie store to buy al a movie. on the drive home, i told evie that this was our secret, which made her really excited. i know she's 3 and that i can't expect her to keep a secret, but i thought i made it pretty clear. when we walked in the house, she was good for a few minutes, but then she told al we went to the movie store. then she looked at me and said, "i didn't tell her what we got there". later on saturday night, she told al she felt like having some skittles. al said we didn't have any, then evie sneakily responded, "yes we do." she was so giddy. sunday morning, evie came in to wake up al and have her open her mother's day present. i'm glad evie had fun and that she did the best she could at keeping a secret.

That's so sweet! You're a good guy to surprise your wife, its the best thing to do! It lets her know that you really love her, well done!
That is such a cute story. I now have to not tell Tanner anything with a present. He just cannot do it at all. (He kept asking about what we got my Mom and I just said "It's a box with a present in it. When he gave it to my Mom she said "what do you think is in it?" knowing he would tell, and Tanner said "I box!" Such funny kids.) I am so impressed with Evie. At least she only gave clues (even if they were big ones!) It is cute how excited she was too.
oh my gosh Allyson and Greg! I am so glad you guys have a blog! I've had one for a while but just recently got in touch with a bunch of people from our old ward... anyway just wanted to say hi and I'll be checking you out everyonce in a while- Evie is BEAUTIFUL by the way, and I LOVE the haircut. I think mother's day is over and it was just father's day. Man, next you know it will be christmas.
Hey you guys, its the Nates from the old ward. We can't believe how big Evie is getting omg! She's still so cute. We're just realizing everyone has blogs too! I work nights so even when I'm not at work, I'm still awake blogging while preston sleeps, thats why its like 3 am!
