getting started.

we've finally begun this whole process of blogging. we've had intentions of doing this for a while now, but haven't gotten around to it. to get things started, our blog header is a joke. i figure that people got it, but i thought i would clarify. we are actually not even close to perfect, which those of you who know us well can attest to. we're trying though.

to catch anyone up to speed that we haven't seen or spoken with in a while, we are still in utah but not attached. we like it here, but are game for moving away. that leads to my next update, we are looking for a new job. i have been working for spin media marketing for the last eight months, but feel it is time for me to move on. i've been working with some great people that i will miss, but we know it is what we need to do. i have been working in account management and have had a little part in production, so if anyone hears of a good job, let us know; we really need all the help we can get. we've got some things in the works, but nothing has played out yet.

allyson finished her last year of teaching and is now a full-time mom, which makes us all happy. i think the one that notices the most is eviejane. evie is our tall two-almost-three-year-old; she'll be three in october. she is 41 inches tall! we recently took her to disneyland because she is still free. we scored because she was tall enough to go on most of the rides, but was still free. she's a funny girl and we have a lot of fun with her. she needs a sibling. someday.

well, that is probably good for getting started. now that everyone knows where we are in life, the following posts probably won't be this dry. they'll be more dry. we'll see what we can do.
