Big words, Little girl!

I've come to the conclusion that Evie uses better English than I do, which makes me wonder where she gets all her big words. Must be from Greg. Anyway, first of all, we were at Gap the other day, and I was trying on jeans. Even though Evie was not trying on jeans, she was copying everything I was doing--look in the mirror, walk toward the mirror, get a backside view, change standing positions, etc. I tried on some that I kind of liked and I said "these are pretty cute". Then Evie looked in the mirror and said, "these are definitely a possibility". Greg and I looked at each other like "where did she get that?" Then yesterday, she was playing with clay and kept asking me what I would like to create? Then after church today, she was telling me about the Daniel in the Lion's Den story and said, "the angel came upon Daniel and saved him from the lions." What will she say next? It's always an adventure talking to my 3-year-old going on 15.

So, did you get the jeans? Both of these posts cracked me up. I don't want to take her shopping with me though because I think her "that's so ghetto" comment would be about me in my new jeans.

Allyson,
I love your cute Evie stories. I am sad that I didn't have a chance to see you when I was in Utah. We'll have to keep in touch through blog stalking.

She really does have a big vocabulary . . . but what is even better is they way she uses it. She is forever making all of us laugh. She is great!

All I can say is that we need to hang out more often. I need to be around to hear her say these things. I hope Madi is like this! I sure love that Evie Jane.
