almost a proud parent moment.

i think it is a universal feeling for parents to be proud of their child when they do something nice that is spontaneous and unrehearsed. tonight, i almost experienced that. after we say prayers with evie, we sing a song to calm her down. tonight was "families can be together forever", and was more meaningful than usual as evie joined on the last line of the song (take a moment to dry your eyes). giving her a kiss goodnight, she said, "i love you". allyson had already left the room, so being the only other person, i said, "thanks, evie, i love you too." we were having a moment...until evie responded, "no, dad, i was talking to glowie (her glow worm)." it was good while it lasted. goodnight evie.

So I have decided that I think you might have my favorite blog. I say that because nearly everytime I read your posts I laugh out loud. Thanks for making them so fun, or should I thank Evie? :)

i hope our kid turns out as cute as evie! she's unbelievably cute! to answer your question... I'm due June 21st. I'm just finishing my second month and am feeling pretty sick still. I can't wait until I start enjoying the whole process. :) We're sorry that you had to find out that we're pregnant from the blog. We had to time everything so that my mom wouldn't tell Cami and have Cami tell you and you tell Karen before we told Karen... sticky situation. :) love you guys! hope to see you soon!
