Well, as I look at the blogs of friends in other states, I have noticed that spring has sprung quite nicely--green grass, flowers, sunshine, warmth. It makes me so so homesick for March in Arizona (where I grew up). But I'm not in Arizona, I'm in Utah--the place where I woke up this morning to find 2 inches of snow on the ground, followed by 4 more hours of snow showers. What a way to ruin what could have been a perfectly nice Sunday! A couple weeks ago, I think it reached 68 degrees, but for the most part, its been low 50's...now that's cold, but I wasn't expecting snow. I thought it had all melted for good. I should know better, however, after living here for the last 8 years, that snow is free game through April--sad but true. I guess every year I just get my hopes up, thinking it will be different. Oh well, I just had to get that off my chest and now I will change my attitude...I love snow in the end of March , I love snow in the end of March...this whole attitude change might be harder than I thought :).

I thought of you and your mom and the box of oranges she would send you when someone gave us a bunch of oranges. If you ever need sun we are just a few hours away!!
Our weather is great right now...but you will be loving life in a couple of months and we will be sad :(
we have had some pretty nice weather. sorry about the snow. the worst part is that we get great spring weather while you get snowy spring weather. then in the summer we get the same wicked heat! maybe you should move to Sacramento!
