first day.

well, i survived. as hard as it was leaving some friends behind at the spin, i really feel like this is a good change. the first day of anything is always a little overwhelming, but i'm going back tomorrow, so that's good. the highlight of my day was meeting kitty mao, my chinese coworker. she was quite funny all day. she checked on me every ten minutes and asked in a thick chinese accent if i was doing okay. my favorite comment was "they must be smokin' clack (crack)." i'm pretty sure she knew what it meant and it was used in the right context, but something was still totally off. anyways, it was a good day.

the thought did cross my mind paige, but i refrained.

i was issued an apron to carry crafting scissors in. come on, i'm already self-conscious about working for a crafting company. haha, jk.
